Thursday,January 4, 2018 - 4:16pm Donald Trump’s lawyers are trying to block the release of a book written by American journalist Michael Wolff that contains “explosive insights into his presidency, and the BBC reports. A legal letter demands that author Michael Wolff and the book’s publisher “immediately cease and desist from any further publication, release or dissemination of the book”, and excerpts from it,the BBC says.
The book, which is called Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, or describes the US president’s election campaign,victory and first months in office. It’s due for release on 9 January but excerpts appeared in the media yesterday.
Earlier today, Tony Blair denied Wolff’s assertions that he warned Trumps son-in-law that the British could be monitoring the US election team during the 2016 campaign.
