Despite having the unfailing support of family and friends, the adjustment has not been seamless.
After a mandatory two month stint i
n a halfway house, Aaron was able to finally to move out, or leaving a life of rules and surveillance behind. He will remain on parole for up to five years, but has been able to secure a new job with a career track.

And slowly but surely he's been getting out: Going to small concerts, seeing the city soccer team win a championship, and he's even started seeing someone special.  One of his favorite activities is mountain biking in the woods near his aunt's house, where he is currently living.
For his mother, Pigeon, and life couldn't be better. To hear all of Aaron's chronicle, click here.
