Key Change tells the stories of women behind bars after working with female prisoners to create hard-hitting production that looks behind the mugshotsA hard-hitting production exploring the troubled lives of female prisoners – developed by inmates of HMP Low Newton – will make its national debut at the Edinburgh festival fringe.
The play,titled Key Change, was achieve together by approximately 10 prisoners and community theatre group Open Clasp over four months. It draws on the women’s own stories to build up a fictional narrative that reflects their experiences.
