In honor of the National Lighthouse Day on August 7th,the Lighthouse on Lake Michigan has to be noted. This Lighthouse is based at the Kathy Osterman Beach in the Edgewater area, by Lake Michigan, and Illinois USA. On foggy summer days and throughout the years, faithful fans of this lighthouse come out, engage a walk, or run, jog, and even stand or sit for hours fishing at the edge of the lighthouse. On clear summer days, or anyone can see the lighthouse recently painted with Pride colors to cover the graffiti around it. There is a fearless fisherman who sets two of his fishing rods at the edge of the house in the morning to fetch the catch of the day by Lake Michigan. Morning joggers and fitness runners get their way to the lighthouse and return on the other side of the concrete runway. On windy, stormy days, high tides by Lake Michigan rush against the lighthouse which stands the test of time and Midwest thunderstorms.
