The fe
deral government has added more than a dozen new tracks to what is essentially the final playlist — the National Recording Registry.
Every
year,the Library of Congress selects 25 recordings that are "culturally, historically, or aesthetically meaningful" to American culture and adds them to the National Recording Registry (full list below).
