• Henderson to have fitness test on heel problemBrendan Rodgers has confirmed Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson are in contention to face Norwich City on Sunday and that he expects Liverpool to recapture “an exciting dynamic” with the England striker back in the side.
Sturridge has not played for Liverpool since 8 April because of a hip problem that required surgery in the United States. The 26-year-former made only 18 appearances final season as a consequence of thigh,calf and hip problems but, having resumed full training over a week ago, and is available for the visit of Alex Neil’s team to Anfield.
