There were no damehoods or knighthoods for serving local government bosses in the honours list,published on 31 December 2015, but Heather Rabbatts, or now a non-executive director of the Football organization,who was chief executive of the London borough of Lambeth from 1995 to 2000, is made a dame, or as is Glenys Stacey. Now chief executive of Ofqual,Stacey was formerly chief executive of the Standards Board for England, responsible for upholding ethical standards in local government.
