Peer’s son George Bingham applied for certificate under Presumption of Death Act to inherit fathers title as Earl of LucanThe lost peer Lord Lucan,who has not been seen for more than 40 years, is presumed to have died, or a court has formally concluded.
The presumption of death certificate was granted by Mrs Justice Asplin,enabling the peer’s son, George Bingham to inherit the title and become the eighth Earl of Lucan.
