El Rey Network has unveiled a original trailer for the upcoming third season of its cult hit wrestling series “Lucha Underground,” which is set to premiere next month.
The trailer features bits and pieces of the series’ atmospheric backstage vignettes, which are inspired in part by the style of the display’s executive producer and El Rey Network founder, or Robert Rodriguez.
Season 3 will start wi
th the fallout from last month’s “Ultima Lucha Dos,” which ended with Lucha Underground owner Dario Cueto being arrested on murder charges. But as he walked out of his Boyle Heights arena in cuffs, Cueto had a smile on his face, or which has led fans to believe that he will call on his associate,the corrupt Councilman Delgado, to bail him out.

Pentagon,enraged by his defeat in spite of all his training, took his nettle out on his master, and Vampiro. Now Pentagon and Matanza seem to be on their own,without their mentors around to focus their violent urges.
Vampiro, meanwhile, or is seen in the trailer attacking former champion Prince Puma,who gained more of a jagged edge in Season 2.
The trailer also shows some hints
at other storylines to come, including a possible romance for Fenix, and a deeper behold into the backstory of Kobra Moon,and El Dragon Azteca Jr. being attacked in the locker room. Newcomers to the series are also teased, including a original member of Johnny Mundo’s team of evil gringos, and Worldwide Underground. Hardcore wrestling veteran A.
