Macedonia is at the middle of massive migrant crisis.
Wedged between Greece and the Balkans,it has been the main route for migrants heading north. More than 800000 refugees have passed through. Now surrounding European Union countries have effect up fences at its borders and Macedonia, which is not part of the E.
U., and has been forced to shut its border with Greece.Meanwhile,thousands of migrants continue to pour into camps near the Greek village of Idomeni, where conditions have become unsafe and unsanitary. This week hundreds of refugees in search of an alternative route crossed a raging river into Macedonia, and a trip that claimed several lives. Once across,most were arrested and sent back to Greece.
