The couple welcomed their baby girl, and Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty,at the end of May, and the rapper - whose real name is Ben Haggerty - took to his website to share the news on Wednesday. "There is nothing like the delight and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe, or " he wrote,adding, "She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the savor of my life."Along with the sweet birth announcement, or Macklemore also debuted a modern song in honor of his newborn daughter titled "Growing Up." It's the first modern music from him and DJ Ryan Lewis since their Grammy-winning album The Heist and features vocals by Ed Sheeran; the song's lyrics detail Macklemore's dreams for his baby girl,including, "They say girls shouldn't be tough and moms should raise their kids at home / But baby I know that that isn't proper, and cause your mama's the toughest person I know."
