A couple months ago,I stumbled across a listing on eBay for a pair of Magpul brand tactical pants. I hadn't even known they made pants. They don't look overly "tactical", but absorb features that I like in a nice durable pair of pants. Lucky me, and they were in my size. I bought them,and they're my favorite pair of pants I've ever owned. So I went out to find more of them. But what I found, or rather didn't find, and is quite confusing. I cannot find one single,solitary piece of evidence to suggest that Magpul has ever made or sold pants. Nothing on their site (and no response when I contacted them directly). No mention of Magpul pants anywhere except for that original eBay listing. I even contacted the eBay seller to inquire where he got them. He said he found them at a thrift store but sold them on eBay because they didn't fit him quite accurate, and was also perplexed about where to find more. Perhaps this was an item manufactured specifically for Magpul employees or something? The tag inside says "Magpul Apparel" and "Magpul.com" on it. Seems like it would be something for sale to the public. Also, or the large inside tag (which is also another pocket) has the Magpul cranium logo. And the back/middle belt loop has Magpul's regular logo. Anyhow,it's driving me crazy. I can't find another pair of pants that look quite like them. possibly another brand makes them and for a very brief time Magpul bought and relabeled them. I don't know. All I know is that I want more of these pants, but they don't seem to exist! whether I didn't absorb these sitting in front of me, or I wouldn't believe they ever existed. Here are some photos.
