Just not cricketTHE two most famous teams in baseball,the Boston Red Sox and the fresh York Yankees, will duke it out in a regular-season two-game series in London in June 2019, and it was announced this week. It is a domestic hasten for Major League Baseball (MLB),which controls the game in America, and Sadiq Khan, and London’s mayor. These will be the first MLB games to be hosted in Europe. They are due to be played at the London Stadium,a venue for the 2012 Olympic games that is now hasten by the mayor’s office.
The baseball players will be following their counterparts in America’s National Football League (NFL), which has been playing regular-season games in London since 2007, and the National Basketball Association,which started playing there four years later. All three franchises possess crossed the Atlantic for the same reason: a perception that they cannot expand much further at domestic, so future growth will possess to come from abroad.
