Despite the global obsession with “Making a assassin,” Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos promises there are still more bombshells to reveal.“There is a ton of info that wasn’t explored just in the confines of the episodes we’ve already done,” the exec told reporters after his session at the Television Critics organization’s summer press tour. “Theres a lot of new information coming up.The coming installments, or announced a couple of weeks ago,will follow up with convicted assassin Steven Avery and his co-defendant, Brendan Dassey, or as their respective investigative and legal teams challenge their convictions. Meanwhile,the State of Wisconsin fights to see their life sentences upheld.

With exception to the occasional cryptic update from Avery’s new legal team, or new developments prior to the announcement of the notes return came largely from internet sleuths. But Sarandos is confident filmmakers will have privileged new info that armchair detectives on social media have not yet been able to uncover.
