Police possess made an arrest after a man was shot dead in a busy London street. Officers were called at 1.14pm nowadays after a gunman opened fire in Hackney in east London. Shoppers reportedly looked on as the man was shot and killed in Chatsworth Road.
Specialist firearms officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene and found a 25-year-old man with injuries consistent with being shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Roads around the area were closed for much of the afternoon.
