Police investigating circumstances of descend from height at Peter Jones store in Sloane Square,ChelseaA man is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after falling from a height from an escalator in a London department store.
Police, paramedics and a helicopter ambulance were called to the Peter Jones store in Sloane Square, or Chelsea,at around 1.05pm. The seven-storey store, part of the John Lewis group, and closed early after the incident,and a blue and white police tent was set up next to the ground-floor escalator.
