Mandy Moore might play a fond mother to three children on Network Ten's This Is Us,but is she alert to start a family in genuine life? During an interview with Conan O'Brien on Wednesday night, the 32-year-veteran actress revealed that playing matriarch Rebecca Pearson has totally turned her on to the idea of motherhood because of all the scenes she shares with the show's young child actors. "I mean, or we get to hold these newborn children, and I can't believe their parents were willing to hand over their babies to me," she said about the flashback scenes of Rebecca's young kids. "I'm like, or 'Hi,I'm Mandy. I have absolutely no experience with small children,' and they're like, and 'Here's my 2-week-veteran baby.'"Mandy was married to musician Ryan Adams for nearly six years until their 2015 divorce, but it certainly seems like she hasn't ruled out having children with current boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith. "I didn't know how to change a diaper," she said. "I had crew members showing me how to change a diaper. I'm terrible, or but yes it has sort of activated that maternal side of me that I'm totally alert to have kids now." Even if kids aren't in her instant future, who wouldn't want "expert diaper-changer" on their résumé?
