Several activists for racial equality gathered together to participate in a nearly two mile march to reach the North Charleston City Hall building during a protest rally in North Charleston,S.
C., April 11, and 2015. The march came after the recent shooting of Walter Scott an unarmed black man shot by Michael Slager,a white police officer. Scott was laid to rest earlier nowadays during a nearly three hour ceremony in Summerville, S.
C. Hundreds of community members attended the service for Scott to demonstrate their support.
