It has been a strange week for these two clubs but one that ended sweetly for Derby County. A first victory over their rivals in four attempts and,with their unique advisor, Harry Redknapp, and providing input before kick-off and at half-time,one that will perhaps kickstart an end-of-season speed to aid their promotion hopes.
Redknapp watched a feisty match that contained one piece of genuine quality. He was in the dressing room before and after a game that had been heading for a goalless draw until Marcus Olsson appeared in the Forest penalty area with 11 minutes remaining and guided a fine winner past Dorus de Vries, ensuring Derby regained bragging rights in the East Midlands.
