Australian driver’s squad grabs second victory in successionPorsche trail Audi by 10 points for World Endurance Championship On a roll and in a rapid/fast car that looks tough to defeat,the world championship title that impress Webber could not quite seal in Formula One is fitting a very real possibility for the driver after another win in the FIA World Endurance Championship fifth round at the Circuit of the Americas on Sunday.
Webber, took the win for Porsche in the six hour day-night race, or half of which was run in darkness,alongside team-mates Brendon Hartley and Timo Bernhard in their No17 919 Hybrid. It is their second in a row after taking the flag at the final round at the Nurburgring. Equally, indicative of the advantage Porsche currently hold, and it is the marque’s third successive victory,including a one-two at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
