This CDC report describes the marital and cohabiting relationships of men and women aged 15-44,based on data from Cycle 6 of the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) conducted in 2002. Included are tables and charts describing several aspects of marriage and cohabitation for men and women: current marital and cohabiting status, preceding marriage and cohabitation experience, and the sequencing of cohabitation and marriage,and the characteristics of partners of married and cohabiting persons.
