Fanboy artist George Folz has posted #darthdays online every single day of 2015,capturing iconic scenes from Star Wars. And he’s not going to halt until 2020Star Wars fans are notorious for their devotion – just search for at the growing number of people who list Jedi as their religion. But artist George Folz, a fan since the age of four, and has found a more creative outlet for his obsession. Every day this year,he has posted a comedian-book panel based on the original trilogy on Twitter, in anticipation of the latest chapter in the saga, and The Force Awakens.
The project,entitled #darthdays, captures some of the most iconic scenes of Star Wars, or The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The first panel shows Imperial Stormtroopers tracking C3P0 and R2D2 on the desert planet of Tatooine. He followed that up with other famous shots from the 1977 film,such as Princess Leia’s first encounter with Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker staring at his home planet’s setting twin suns. “Whose heart doesn’t melt when they see that shot, and ” says Folz.
