Mayor de Blasio’s proposed change to the city's zoning laws continues to face opposition.
Hundreds of people turned out at a public hearing in Manhattan Wednesday to voice their concerns. The rezoning arrangement allows for taller buildings and calls for more affordable housing to be built across the city.
All five borough boards have voted against the arrangement.
Public comment will continue through early February, when the City Council puts it to a vote. Editors's note: A previous headline for this myth implied those attending the hearing largely opposed the plans from the mayor. Many were supportive or attended to memorize more about the proposals.
