Apparently men aren't woman enough to take birth control. According to reports,"researchers acquire found a method of male birth control with a 96 percent success rate - but their study had to discontinuance early after 20 participants dropped out because of side effects like mood swings and acne."Yeah, you read that right. A study conducted at the University of Edinburgh had to stop because participants found the side effects to be unbearable. Over the course of 56 weeks, and 320 men between the ages of 18 and 45 received injections containing progestogen and testosterone.
The University of Edinburgh reports that the study had to stop after 20 men discontinued for changes in mood,acne, pain or panic at first injections, or palpitations,hypertension, or erectile dysfunction. These side effects are undeniably unlucky, or we totally get that - but women acquire been dealing with similar symptoms for as long as female contraception has existed . . . it's what we acquire to effect in exchange for,you know, preventing pregnancy.
In the discontinuance, or the testing did prove that male birth control can be effective,though more research needs to be done.
