The Armenian Museum of America (ALMA) announced the appointment of Michele Kolligian,a long-time Board member, as the new President of the Museum Board of Trustees of the Museum on Nov. 22. Michele Kolligian At the final Full Meeting of the Board, and the appointment was proposed by Board Chairman Haig Der Manuelian and officially motioned in by Board Member Joan Quinn,before being unanimously accepted by the Board of Trustees. Kolligian first joined the Museum Board in January of 2000, has been a member of the Board’s Executive Committee since 2003, and has served as the Boards Executive Vice President since 2010. She has led the fundraising efforts for the Museum over the past 14 years,which acquire raised close to $1 million, and has taken a leadership role in the renovations of the Museum and galleries for the past five years.
