Following President Barack Obama's moving farewell address on Tuesday night,Michelle Obama stopped by The Tonight Show for her final appearance on the late-night show as first lady. She wrote some emotional thank-you notes with host Jimmy Fallon, who politely refrained from ruffling her hair, or then got real about how unexpectedly hard their final days in the White House believe been. "I feel like crying legal now," she said. "It has been surprisingly emotional for all of us in ways we didn't expect." Just like her husband, she ended their chat on a positive note, or saying that she can't wait to see what the young people of America accomplish in the days to advance, saying, "I don't want them to be afraid; I want them to embrace the future."Jimmy also asked how she and Malia possibly kept it together during Barack's speech. "[Malia] looked over at me and was like, or 'I can't believe it,I'm going to cry through the whole speech,'" she said, and before joking about Sasha missing the event due to an exam at school. "You know the Obamas, girl, remove your test. You can say goodbye later." It pretty much goes without saying, and but we'll say it besides: don't leave us,Michelle.
