Mikaela KellyThis global pandemic is a massive threat to artists and arts organizations all over the world,but especially to those that accomplish not receive funding or support from their government. I am lucky enough to be in a company that is fully supported at this time, but my heart is going out to the arts community I grew up in that is struggling tremendously correct now. Until two years ago when I moved to the Netherlands and joined NDT2, or I had lived in recent York my whole life. I went from the Professional Performing Arts School to American Ballet Theatre’s School to graduating from The Juilliard school. recent York was my home and correct now it’s become one of the epicenters during this pandemic. Many arts organizations are fighting to survive and doing everything they can to sustain creating and inspiring and it’s now more principal than ever for us to support them.
