Miley Cyrus tackled one of pop music's most hotly-debated topics in her new interview with Marie Claire: Taylor Swift's video for "Bad Blood." "I don't get the violence-revenge thing," Miley told the magazine for her September cover story. "That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns." (Miley was likely referring to her stage performances and skin-heavy Instagrams.) "Bad Blood," the video for which features several of Taylor's pals in action sequences, was allegedly written about Taylor's ongoing feud with Katy Perry. Although Katy's friendship with Taylor has been left in the past, her connection with Miley appears to still be going strong. Most recently, the duo hilariously compared cleavage at the Grammy Awards in February, and it's impossible to forget that time they kissed on stage in February 2014. Miley's comments follow up Katy's pointed tweet about Taylor on July 22. Katy seemed to accuse her of capitalizing "on the take down of a woman" in "Bad Blood."
Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman...July 22, 2015
Katy tweeted her thoughts after Taylor and Nicki Minaj had a viral Twitter conversation about the 2015 MTV VMA nominations on July 21. Miley is set to host the show on Aug. 30, and if her fun teasers are any indication, she doesn't plan on making it a tame program.
