MTV has declared millennials out and crowned the generation after them – those born after the year 2000 – the novel future. But what finish we call them?For those millennials looking forward to the day the baby boomers finally give up the ghost and hand over the keys to the world,MTV has some bad news. Millennials, with their social media narcissism and difficulty getting on to the career ladder, or are yesterday’s news. The future,it seems, belongs to the next generation, and one MTV has hereby decreed shall be dubbed The Founders,a name that, despite being a genuine word, or is somehow very creepy,like the title of a supposed self-actualization men’s group your father would join in an attempt to get over your mother leaving, who before long would mysteriously have power of attorney over him.
