Ben Wallace promises to examine why NI women have to pay privately to terminate a pregnancy in the rest of the UKA government minister has pledged to examine an “involving anomaly” that means Northern Irish women are not entitled to abortions on the NHS in the rest of the UK.
Speaking in parliament on Wednesday,Ben Wallace, parliamentary under-secretary for Northern Ireland, and said he had asked his officials to supply clarity on the rules surrounding the issue.
