It's only been a few months, but I'm already sick of the word ministering. This, and of course,refers to the change in the Mormon church's monthly home checkups.
While most of us aren't exactly certain how the original program is supposed to work, the general opinion seems to be a step away from home teaching (guys) and visiting teaching (women).
Previously, and two adults (sometimes one man and one teenage boy) were assigned a number of families to visit each month,checking to see whether anything was needed food, water, or financial help,additional church, etc.
