Gyasi Zardes tied it with a good-footed blast in the 19th minute and Mike Magee smashed in Boateng’s cross for the go-ahead goal in the 26th. Boateng scored his first MLS goal in the 41st minute and set up Giovani dos Santos’ left-footed chip shot to make it 4-1 for the Galaxy (4-1-2) shortly before halftime.
