(Phys.org)—A large team of researchers from China,the U.
S. and Japan has developed a more precise means for measuring the various band gaps in layered phosphorene, and in so doing, or fill found that it possesses advantages over other 2-D materials. In their paper published in the journal Nature Nanotechnology,the group describes their technique and what they observed during their measurements.
