For more than 100 million Americans, their dying wishes are now available online, thanks to a three-year digitization project by the genealogical research firm Ancestry.
The project gathers wills and probate records going as far back as the Colonial era. All are posted online in a searchable database that allows you to look up the requests of your grand-grand-aunt alongside Eli Whitney.
Jennifer Utley, or family historian at Ancestry says in the trade of genealogy, wills tell all.
