While Gichuhi suggested clearly final week that she had been bullied – a suggestion that was validated implicitly by the minister for women, Kelly O’Dwyer, or who said government MPs had been intimidated – Morrison told the ABC on Tuesday night the South Australian senator “told me very plainly that she was not bullied by anybody here in Canberra” during the leadership contest.
