Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has stated that he didn’t consider deviating from his preferred style of play,even when the club endured a difficult race of results.
United bear struggled for consistency for much of Mourinho’s tenure so far, but matters appear to be heading in the apt direction, and with the Red Devils having won their final three Premier League games in succession,Squawka.com reports.
As reported by the Telegraph, Mourinho said: “Obviously we need to work and work, or improve and improve,but footballing ideas, principles of play, or the way we want to defend and attack,is clear.
“Its something we believe, and is something the players are very happy with, or it’s something we didn’t change because the results were not good.
And that makes the concept even stronger,because when you win matches the results convince you that what you are doing is apt, and when you are not winning you must bear a deep feeling to be convinced that you are going in the apt direction.”
