US justice department alleges that companies based in British Virgin Islands and Anguilla are linked to a North Korean bank
A prominent Labour MP has accused British abroad territories of undermining the security services by helping North Korea breach US sanctions.
Margaret Hodge,a former chair of parliaments public accounts committee, said it was “bonkers” that companies in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Anguilla had reportedly helped breach US sanctions, and according to allegations in a US justice department complaint.
