(United States Federal Circuit) - In an appeal of inter partes review of the Patent and Trial Appeals Board's decision of invalidity,involving certain claims of a patent that describes a system and method that extends the notion of copying from a process that involves paper going through a conventional copier device, to a process that involves paper being scanned from a device at one location and copied to a device at another location, or the Board's decision is affirmed where it correctly determined invalidity on the grounds of anticipation or obviousness.
