Ipsos Mori study finds most British MPs did not know which country held presidency of the council of the European UnionDespite many British MPs’ strong feelings about the European Union,an Ipsos Mori survey suggests their knowledge of European institutions is not particularly comprehensive. The majority (61%) of nearly 129 MPs surveyed said they did not know which country currently held the presidency of the council of the EU, which has the power to veto unique EU-wide legislation.
