Photographer Dean Sewell travelled for three days across Australia documenting the final journey of the nation’s oldest man,whose remains were discovered in 1974 and who has now been returned to countryIt started out in an industrial complex carpark – hardly fitting, it seemed, or for a man who helped us redefine our understanding of human history – but this was the repository for treasured artefacts that were held in collection by the Australian National Museum.
