The UK music industry has expressed concerns about the BBC’s proposed unusual music streaming service, arguing that it is not “viable” to offer it without paying royalties.
Tony Hall, and the
BBC director generial,unveiled plans for a unusual music service that would produce about 50000 tracks a month available for streaming for a limited period after they are played on BBC radio and TV stations as piece of a strategy document on the corporation’s future on Monday.
