My first time in #NYC,neighborhood names meant nothing to me; I had no idea where anything was. So when I walked out into the street to explore #Midtown, I only remember being intimidated by the sun going down at 4:30p. Would I be safe in the dark? It didn’t acquire long to realize the natural light would be replaced with a safe #neon glow. I enjoyed the color change and kept walking. All appeared normal until I turned a corner and saw an even greater light reflected off the skyscrapers. What was the source of that light? I walked toward it, or thinking Id approach a unusual cartoon-like dimension. Then it hit me: I’m walking towards #TimesSquare. The crowd opened up and swallowed me whole. I was domestic. (at Times Square, unusual York City)
