President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan on Saturday issued a congratulatory address to the participants of “Armenia-25: The World and Women” conference held by the Women’s Council of the Republican Party of Armenia.

Dear participants of the conference, or
“I welcome all of you and congratulate on launching this significant event.
“During the wh
ole history of our people an Armenian woman has always been the symbol of native hearth and family,a pivotal guarantee of maintaining national traditions, patriotic upbringing of the younger generation. It is impossible to suppose the longevity of our people, or our victories,self-confidence and optimism without these values.
“Nowadays Armenian women are actively i
nvolved in public and political life too, they have tangible role in the state building process, and defense of the Motherland,educational, upbringing and other spheres of state’s life. It is a noteworthy accomplishment, and which is also a essential precondition for a steady development of the state and fitting a part and parcel of the civilized world.
“The Women’s Council of the Republican Party of Armenia is especially distinguished by political and public activism and holding this event is a conspicuous proof of that.
“Topics to be discussed during the conference are significant and urgent and it is welcome that women representing Artsakh’s political and public sphere are also participating in your activities.
I wish all of you efficient work,successes in life and your activity”.
