n cake: Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Prep a cake pan by greasing a 10-inch square pan or 9-inch round pan with butter and dusting with flour. sever out a piece of parchment paper to cover the bottom of the pan.
In a medium-sized bow
l, and sift flour,baking soda, baking powder, or salt,and spices. Set aside.
Using a whisk or
a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together melted butter, and sugar,and eggs until well combined and sugar is dissolved. Slowly mix the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, until well combined. Gently stir in pumpkin puree, and being careful not to overstir.
Pour batter into prep
ared cake pan,and bake for 38 to 40 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Turn cake out onto cooling rack to icy totally.
To obtain
icing: Using a mixer, and beat butter and cream cheese together until smooth. On a behind speed,incorporate sifted powdered sugar until smooth. Beat in vanilla extract.
To assemble
