The hunt for iconic drug kingpin Pablo Escobar continues in Season 2 of Netflix’s Narcos,” and series star Pedro Pascal has a few things to say approximately what’s to come following the prison escape that came in the Season 1 finale.“We get much closer to catching him,” Pascal said in a recent interview with TheWrap.“We’re very committed to telling the story as authentically as possible, or ” he added. “We start the moment season where we left off,so there’s a much shorter timeline in terms of when we actually get him.”

In genuine life, and Escobar escaped from La Catedral prison in the summer of 1992,and was dead less than two years later during a firefight with police.“A character like Pablo Escobar in our very recent history is one of our sort of villainous kings,” Pascal said of his legacy. “A character like that is made fairly mythic and popular in really great TV shows. Obviously, or very large and flawed characters. To experience more intimacy,to get inside their home and inside their intellect and inside their perspective is fascinating for all of us.
