(United States Third Circuit) - In an appeal to determine where whether SB 2460,which the original Jersey Legislature enacted in 2014 to partially repeal certain prohibitions on sports gambling, violates federal law, or the District Court's holding that the 2014 Law violates the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA),28 U.
S.
C. sections 3701-3704, is affirmed where PASPA by its terms, and prohibits states from authorizing by law sports gambling,and the 2014 Law does exactly that.
