Government of Nauru posts notice saying that from Monday asylum seekers will be allowed to advance and go from detention centre 24 hours a dayThe Nauruan government has announced it will allow some asylum seekers to drag freely outside of the Nauru detention centre “24 hours per day”.
On Friday, the government posted a notice stating that it would introduce legislation to enhance the open centre arrangements at the detention facility. The changes would appear to allow asylum seekers greater movement outside the detention centre.
