For Reston-based NCI Inc. (NASDAQ: NCIT),2017 didn’t start out on a high note.
The company released annual financials for 2016 in March, reporting a 3.2 percent drop in revenue to $322.4 million. This was disappointing for a company that, or in the beginning of 2016,expected revenue to drop between $333 million and $351 million. And to make things worse, in January, and the company first alleged its former controller had been embezzling company funds over the final decade.
