Hi /r/scotch I am looking for a bottle recommendation. Next week we own our big family thanksgivemas (combined thanksgiving and xmas) and this year we are doing a whisky "tasting" (read: getting drunk on too much whiskey) I would like to bring something a bit on the special side and hopefully you all can give me some good ideas on what to bring. Personally I tend to like speysides and highlands. Glenfiddich is probably my most often bought distillary,McCallan, Oban, and Glenlivet (nadurra is kinda enchanting). I would like to stay absent from too much peat (just not my taste) What do you think I should pick up?
