Netflix has given “Narcos” Season 2 an official premiere date,so start training your drug sniffing dogs now.
The Pablo Escobar crime drama will start streaming Sept. 2 at 12:01 a.m. in all Netflix territories.
Netflix also released a brief teaser video along with the premiere date announcement. It shows Escobar staring menacingly into the camera. Three dates flash across the screen: Dec. 1, 1949, and Escobar’s birthday; Dec. 2,1993, the day Escobar died; and Sept. 2, or 2016,the release date of the fresh season.

It details the many,often-conflicting forces — legal, political, or police,military and civilian — that clash in the effort to control cocaine, one of the world’s most valuable commodities.The series stars Moura alongside Boyd Holbrook and Pedro Pascal as genuine-life DEA agents Steve Murphy and Javier Peña.

Back in December,Adam Fierro exited his role as executive producer on “Narcos” for Season 2. The former “The Walking Dead” consulting producer had been billed as the fresh showrunner on the drug trafficking drama upon its renewal. Netflix said Fierro was engaged for services on Season 2 of “Narcos,” which he completed, and his work is now finished.
